Our process
Made to command a room. Made by hand.
Scale changes everything.
A candle containing hundreds of ounces of wax cannot simply be treated like a larger version of an eight-ounce jar. Wick placement matters more. Temperature matters more. Pouring matters more. Curing matters more. Every Luce Divina candle is filled and finished by hand in Miami, with the process adapted to the dimensions and material of each vessel.

Glass Carries it throughThe vessel
The vessel is not packaging.
Brass. Aluminum. Ceramic. Glass. We choose materials for more than appearance. We think about what happens when flame meets surface. A polished vessel multiplies light. Glass carries it through. Ceramic gives it weight. Texture breaks it apart.
The vessel is half of the experience.
- 01 Prepare Wax prepared for the scale of the vessel.
- 02 Fragrance Fragrance is incorporated.
- 03 Wick Wicks are placed.
- 04 Pour The candle is poured.
- 05 Set It is allowed to set.
- 06 Finish Inspected and finished by hand.
The pour
Every detail gets bigger.
At this size, small imperfections become visible. A wick half an inch out of place shows. A pour that cools unevenly shows. So the things that would go unnoticed in a small candle are the things that decide whether a large one is right.
Small details matter most at scale.
Made by hand
Variation is part of the object.
Handmade materials can vary. Glass may contain subtle irregularities. Metal finishes can shift. Ceramic surfaces may not be perfectly identical. We consider those differences part of the character of the piece rather than flaws to erase.
